The makers announced on Monday that "Last Film Show," India's official Oscar entry, will be shown in 95 theatres throughout the country a day before its scheduled premiere. Tickets cost Rs 95.
The coming-of-age drama, which goes by the Gujarati name "Chhello Show," is India's official submission for the 95th Academy Awards' best international feature film category.
The "last shows" for the movie will be on Thursday, the day before it opens on Friday.
"Our movie, "Last Film Show" (Chhello Show), has generated a lot of fan interest, so we are thrilled to be able to premiere it on Thursday's "Last Show."
